This video is for users who have already done their nutrition homework and would like to learn about how to make a single batch recipe for multidog households.
If you own a pack of dogs that can eat similar foods, this video will show you how to make batch recipes in Pet Diet Designer (though this method can be extrapolated to other tools) and apply the batch recipes to other dogs in your house. This will save you time from having to make different batches of foods for dogs who could otherwise eat the same things- just in different amounts. You will not have to add in individual ingredients for each dog. You will learn how to use the batch tool to calculate how much food to make for all dogs in the household for x amount of days- all on one sheet.
Creating your own formulas will help you create a range of how much each dog can eat from a batch. You will learn how to make your own supplement and feeding chart for your dogs. This is useful if your dog’s calorie requirements change over the year.
